Mid Latitudes Climates




The mid latitudes is divided in 4: Mediterranean, Marine West Coast, Humid Sub tropical and Humid Continental.




Mediterranean- Rainy winter and Hot and sunny summer is called a Mediterranean zone. These are located in Southwest of Australia, South and Southwest of Europe, part North of Europe, part North of Africa, South Africa and Northeast of Antarctica.




Marine west coast- Hot summer, humid winter with abundant rains is call the Marine west coast. These are located in South California, North Europe, a part of South Africa, Southeast Australia and New York.




Humid sub tropical- Short and soft winter. It's rains almost every day. Wind patterns,
high pressures humidity levels. All of this is the Humid Sub tropical, these are located in Washington, Rio de Janeiro and Hong Kong.




Humid Continental- Short summer and it snow in the North with evergreens outnumbering deciduous trees is called Humid Continental. It's located in South Canada, Western Russia Northeast of China.
